GREAT FOR KIDS AND BABIES

We stayed at Le Mas du Bourrelier with our 4 month old baby. The house was more than perfect for us! Mike and Mark did an incredible job to make this a unique holiday home in the middle of the Provençal vineyards. Very kind hosts, they have paid high attention to detail to give the house a personal touch and great atmosphere. We loved the pool, seating areas in/outside and the large kitchen. RUSTIC ELEGANCE

The Mas du Bourrelier is the perfect combination of rustic French elegance and 21st century convenience. Set amongst vine, olive and lavender crops, it is entirely peaceful yet close to the Roman, medieval and the modern. The gardens are glorious, the pool Hockney-esque, the Fibre WIFI reliable, the kitchen both contemporary and traditional, the tiled floors cool and the care-taking thoughtful.

spacious and cool

This wonderful house is spacious and for us (2 couples and 3 children) there was more than enough room. Although the temperatures were in the high 30s, we were able to sleep perfectly well at night. During the day we could really enjoy the garden and cool off in the pool or outdoor shower. The house is perfectly situated for trips out to towns like Orange, Nyons and Vaison-la-Romaine, all within a 15 to 20 minute drive.

We absolutely loved our stay at your gorgeous house. It was the perfect spot for day trips, bike rides and small excursions/adventures. We had never been to this part for France, but really loved it!

When looking for the perfect hideaway in Provence, look no further. This Mas is nicely surrounded by vineyards, has a private pool and secluded garden with spots for both sun lovers and shadow seekers. The interior is fitted out with great eye for detail and the kitchen is exceptionally well equipped. Contact with the hosts was both pleasant and professional. A full 5 star review

FABULOUS 3 WEEKS IN THIS WONDERFUL HOME 

Arriving in the dark the house was everything we had hoped for and much more. But it was it was really in the daylight that we got to appreciate all that we had in store. Everything inside and outside the house was all to a very high quality, thoughtfully designed and superbly styled. The wonderful pool, sun and shade throughout the day…perfect. Any request or questions we had were answered right away and made for a brilliant vacation for us all. The property is fully walled and enclosed, it made for a very safe and relaxing time for our dogs. Special mention for the spacious kitchen area; I had the great pleasure of using the vast range of tools and gadgets. This is the best equipped kitchen I have been in and gave me a few ideas for back home.  A few minutes walk to the neighbours for a fascinating vineyard tour  and of course wine-tasting. Their excellent range of white, red and rosé wines, including a fun Sparkling Rosé that I really recommend. We all look forward to returning to Le Mas Du Bourrelier and doing it all over again. Terms and conditions.
 
Full terms and conditions will be explained in the final contract which you will receive straight after booking. Some important points to note as regards payments are as follows:-

  • A booking deposit of 25% of the total rental fee is payable to secure your booking. Once received, the dates discussed will be blocked for you.
  • Two calendar months before your rental starts, the balance of the rental charge plus a damage deposit of €1000 are due, by bank transfer.
  • A standard final cleaning charge of €150 will be deducted from your damage deposit before return. Everything else (bed linens, pool towels and bathroom towels) is included.
  • The damage deposit will be returned by bank transfer within 3 days of your departure, subject to the house being left clean and as you found it and with no major damage or loss of contents. (We've only once had to deduct €60 euros for damage to the pool cover, to cover the repair costs.)
  • All other payments are non-refundable if you decide or have to cancel your booking.  We advise you make sure that you have holiday insurance to cover such an eventuality.

We speak English, French, Dutch and some German. You will be greeted on arrival in French/English.

GETTING HERE

  • 15 minutes drive North East from Orange and the A7 motorway.  
  • Avignon TGV train station (direct connections from London) is 40 minutes drive away. Paris is less than 3 hours away by train (TGV)
  • Marseille airport is a little over an hour away with a large choice of flights.

pets, children & access

This is a pet and child friendly house. Unlike most rentals in this area, we have an entirely closed garden. Pets are welcome  - please mention them also when you book. The ground floor has a 20cm step between the original part of the house and the rest. With staircases to the bedrooms it is perhaps not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
